The Student Farm
· social media · suite design · illustration · The Student Farm, or the more all-encompassing Sustainable Food System Initiative, is a primarily student-run organization at Penn State University that facilitates several events, internships, and programming. We do a lot, and that’s because we care a lot.
I have had the honor of working as the lead graphic designer for this organization, creating all of their print and digital media. This includes posters, flyers, booklets, presentations, social media posts, photography, and more. Let’s just say I know how to curate and maintain a successful brand.
I have helped transform personality into one
that feels like home. I’ve created flyers, posters,
bookmarks, stickers, t-shirts, and so much more.
My favorite part is seeing the community celebrate
and interact with what I have created!
MAKING A SYSTEM
Something the Farm has made me an expert in is creating design systems. On a daily basis, I follow a design system curated for the farm by myself and those before me. In addition to that system, our programs have a number of recurring events, as well as many different platforms to spread the same message. This means my system design has to adapt in every which way. I’m an expert!
